Their guidance, leadership, and unwavering support ensure that we stay true to our mission—delivering nourishment, connection, and compassion to those who need it most. With their diverse expertise and shared commitment, our Board helps us grow stronger, serve smarter, and reach further into the community every day.

Rory Coetzee
Rory is a local family law attorney in Monterey, and is the founding member of the firm, R.S.C. Law Group, Inc. A native of South Africa, Rory immigrated to the United States in 1998 and attended Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas where he graduated with Cum Laude honors. Rory lives in Carmel and enjoys spending his free time with his Wife, Noelle, and their two daughters. He is passionate about helping families on the Monterey Peninsula, which is why he has chosen to serve on the board of Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula.

Steve Keller
As Senior Vice President of Wealth Management and Portfolio Management Director, Steve Keller brings a unique blend of financial expertise and strategic insight to the MOWMP board. With a focus on holistic, client-centered planning, Steve supports our mission by helping ensure long-term sustainability and advocating for the well-being of the community we serve.

Heidi Schake
A seasoned attorney with decades of experience in international insurance law, Heidi brings a lifelong commitment to volunteerism and community service. Now living in Carmel Valley, she supports MOWMP’s mission to combat food insecurity. Her passion for giving back to the Monterey Peninsula stems from cherished childhood memories and a deep love for the community she now calls home.

J.R. Williams, CIMA
With over three decades of experience in financial advising and portfolio management, J.R. Williams brings strategic expertise and a personalized approach to wealth planning. As a dedicated MOWMP board member, J.R. supports our mission by helping ensure long-term sustainability and impact, championing financial stewardship to better serve our clients and community.

John O'Brien
With over 30 years in elder care and healthcare leadership, John O'Brien brings deep insight and dedication to the MOWMP board. As CEO of a local care agency and trustee with Montage Health and Aspire Health, John champions senior wellness. A longtime board member and past president, he played a key role in our capital campaign and continues to support our mission with heart and expertise.

Paul Bruno
A long-time resident of Monterey County, Paul Bruno is Chief Financial Officer and Principal of Monterey Peninsula Engineering. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Bank. Paul has been active in a variety of community organizations, including the Seaside Groundwater Basin Watermaster, the Monterey Peninsula Taxpayers Association, the Lincoln Club of Northern California, and the Carmel River Watershed Conservancy.

Deborah Winick
Debbie brings nearly 40 years of experience in financial services technology, retiring as a Senior VP at Bank of America. Since relocating to Carmel in 2005, she has passionately supported local nonprofits. A dedicated MOWMP Board Member, Debbie’s leadership reflects her commitment to social services, community well-being, and ensuring vulnerable neighbors receive the care they deserve.

Tamie Aceves
Tamie is the force behind local hospitality favorites including the much beloved Crema Restaurant in Pacific Grove (pandemic casualty), La Creme Monterey Luxury Catering, Lucy's on Lighthouse (opening partner), and the newly renovated Grill at Point Pinos at the PG Golf Links. Her passion is creating memorable dining experiences for locals and visitors - "It's all about loving people up with food."

Matt Hohman
Matt Hohman brings over 20 years of financial leadership to Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula. As VP of Financial Services at Monterey Credit Union and a board member of the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Matt combines expertise with a strong commitment to community. He proudly supports MOWMP’s mission to deliver nourishment, independence, and compassion to those who need it most.

The Honorable Stephanie Hulsey
California Superior Court Judge Stephanie Hulsey brings deep legal expertise and a passion for service to the MOWMP board. As a former Assistant District Attorney and current Juvenile Justice Court Judge, she advocates for vulnerable populations. Her commitment to justice, education, and community well-being aligns with our mission to serve with compassion and dignity.

Robert Kramer
Bob is the Founder and President of both Visionary Strategic Consulting, and The Prosperity Leadership forum of Monterey and Salinas. Bob Kramer holds both MBA and MA degrees and is a graduate from the US Military Academy at West Point. Bob retired from the US Army as a Lt Colonel and is a Certified Management Consultant and Executive Coach. Bob served on the leadership team for the Monterey Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and is an active board member with Monterey Meals on Wheels and will soon be a volunteer driver.

Dr. Sharon Wesley is a respected family medicine physician at Community Hospital with over two decades of dedicated service. Honored with the 2023 Physician Recognition Award, she brings clinical excellence, leadership, and compassion to her role on the MOWMP board. Her commitment to health, equity, and community care reflects her deep support for our mission to nourish lives and promote independence.
