First and foremost, it’s a chance to come together. In addition, guests can share stories, celebrate milestones, and build lasting friendships in a warm and welcoming environment.
Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula
Nourishing Minds Bodies Spirits .
THE MISSION
Empowering seniors, adults with disabilities, veterans, and other underserved populations to remain independent by nourishing their bodies, minds, and spirits. As a result, we help drive out hunger and isolation throughout our region.
Home Delivered Meals
If you or a loved one are homebound, we’re here to help. Not only do we bring warm, healthy meals, but we also deliver a friendly face right to your door.
Volunteer
From delivering meals to leading activities, volunteers are the heart of our mission. Because of this, your time brings nourishment, joy, and meaningful connection to someone in need.

Our impact goes beyond delivering meals, rather, we deliver health, dignity, and human connection to thousands of neighbors every year.
Impact Our Organization Today & Tomorrow
In addition to immediate support, planned giving creates lasting change. For example, it allows you to support a cause close to your heart while potentially providing tax benefits to you and your heirs. Ultimately, your legacy can nourish lives for generations to come.
Building Safety, Comfort, and Independence
Beyond meals, we help clients live safely and confidently in their own homes. Specifically, this initiative provides small-scale repairs and essential safety upgrades. As a result, we improve mobility, reduce fall risks, and support long-term independence.
In fact, in 2024 alone, we completed 33 transformative projects, including wheelchair ramps, sturdy handrails, repaired porches, safer walkways, and improved heating, ventilation, and lighting.
Where compassion meets action.
Supporting the Bonds That Heal and Comfort
Equally important, we care for the loyal companions who bring comfort, joy, and purpose to our clients’ lives. For many, pets are not just animals; rather, they are family.
However, for clients with limited mobility or resources, accessing pet food can be a challenge. That’s why, in 2024, our staff and volunteers made 1,032 pet meal deliveries, supporting the health and happiness of over 54 beloved pets across the Monterey Peninsula.
